Many people who attended the Hari ng Negros - Legends of Sugarlandia fashion show held last November 15 were totally spellbound. Visitors arrived in Dumaguete from as far as Manila, Cebu and Bacolod to witness this unique fashion event.

LEGENDS OF SUGARLANDIA - THE HARI NG NEGROS BODY PAINT AND TRIBAL FASHION SHOW - NOVEMBER 15

The Island of Negros is rich in history, myths and legends.

Most centered around the majestic and mystical Kanlaon Volcano.

It is here where the legend of the Hari ng Negros was born.

Since 2003, the City of Canlaon in cooperation with Fashion TV has been spearheading the search for this mythical King.



Many have attempted, but only a few have succeeded.

On November 15, be prepared.

For the most spectacular and unique fashion event in the Philippines.

Where for the first time, the Queens of

Negros Occidental

will meet the Queens of Negros Oriental

together with the Princes and Haris of Negros through the years,

in a show filled with the most amazing tribal costumes,

and best body paint this side of the world.

Be mesmerized by the beat of the La Carlota Drumbeaters and watch the El Puerto Rico Clubhouse in Dumaguete City be transformed.
