SOARING HIGH

After winning the title of Hari ng Negros 2004, Reiven Bulado of Guihulngan City embarked on an acting and modeling career.

He was cast to play the role of Ibo, the brother of Cesar Montano in Panaghoy sa Suba, which garnered 16 awards and 11 nominations including 5 from the Metro Manila Film Festival and was also given an endorsement by the UNESCO. It was named Best Picture at the "International Festival of Independent Films" held in Brussels, Belgium. Montano was also chosen Best Director. In addition, Montano also won Best Actor in Panaghoy sa Suba in the Golden Screen Awards. Reiven by the way won as Best Supporting Actor.

In Bilog/Circles which is directed by Cris Pablo, Reiven plays a sex worker based on the lives of young men mingling around in the infamous Quezon Memorial Circle.

In the Hunt for Eagle One, Reiven plays Pvt. Don Tubayan, a Filipino soldier sent to rescue a captured US Marine and a Filipino Captain while stopping a group of Al-Qaeda-backed local rebels from launching biological weapons. The film also stars Mark Dacascos and Theresa Randle.

But Reiven's first love is flying. He became a flight attendant at Philippine Airlines while studying also in aviation school.

Soon, Reiven will become the pilot he has always dreamed of. Soaring high, where eagles belong.

Proud to be a Negrense. Forever Hari ng Negros.
